Jazz, Pop & Commercial Music Voice Lessons in Philadelphia (Ages 10–Adult)

With over eight years of teaching experience, I work with middle school students, high school singers preparing for auditions, college-level jazz vocalists, professional musicians, and dedicated hobbyists. I teach private voice lessons from my home studio in the Philadelphia area and online via Zoom, and I serve as the Jazz Voice Instructor on the faculty at Moravian University.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a jazz emphasis from the University of Wyoming and a Master of Music in Jazz Studies from Temple University. I am trained in Level I and II of Somatic Voicework™, a Contemporary Commercial Voice program focused on healthy vocal technique for contemporary commercial styles.

My Teaching Philosophy

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to singing. My goal is to help each student discover their own artistry while building strong, healthy vocal technique that works reliably across styles.

For younger students, I focus on creating healthy sounds and musical confidence. For teens and college students, lessons often include audition preparation, stylistic development, improvisation (for jazz singers), and repertoire building. For adult students, lessons are customized to support professional performance goals or joyful lifelong musicianship.

If you are looking for thoughtful, artistry-centered voice lessons in Philadelphia for yourself or your child, I would love to connect.
